Food Top of Bern
The event begins at the foot of the cathedral, with the ascent to the tower. You climb over 300 steps up the cathedral tower. The ascent and descent are done together as a group. Please note that there is no elevator. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a view over the rooftops of Bern.
You can enjoy an aperitif (up to 40 people) or a multi-course meal (up to 40 people) in the meeting rooms or in the large hall. The main attraction on the cathedral is the large vaulted hall at a height of over 60 meters, which is located above the old tower keeper's apartment and the tower kitchen and from which you have a 360° view of Bern's old town. The experience will remain in your memory thanks to the flair of the cathedral combined with the delicious food.

Apéro riche with dessert
- Sesame cornet with dark sesame seeds, filled with a cream of salt-baked beetroot and beef tartare, garnished with chives
- Homemade, toasted rosemary brioche with eight-month matured Hofer prosciutto, marinated cream cheese and pickled onions
- Warm, white cream of asparagus soup, refined with tarragon oil
- Homemade grissini refined with herb salt
- Fluffy potato flan in a glass with creamy mushroom cream sauce and marinated fresh herbs
- Polenta flan refined with saffron
- Crispy corn-fed poulard croquette on a skewer, served with spicy apricot ketchup
- Sweet tartelette with braised Granny Smith apple chutney, yoghurt mousse and honey dip
- Sweet vegan lemon cake with vegan chocolate mousse and crunch
- Fluffy potato flan in a glass with creamy mushroom cream sauce and marinated fresh herbs
3-course menu
- Salad with fresh herbs and a herb dressing, free-range egg 65° rounded off with sliced Belper tuber
- Pink roasted veal flank steak with wafer-thin beef mustard crumbles, hollandaise espuma, parsnip cream and fried green asparagus
- Glazed slice of various Felchlin chocolates, roasted pistachios, pistachio ganache and pistachio ice cream
