Experience the culinary delights of France up close
How do you make the perfect, wafer-thin crêpe? During the aperitif, you will be introduced to the art of making crêpes. Delicious aperitif snacks are created.
Then it's your turn. Under expert supervision, you will make savory and sweet crêpes in small teams. There are no limits to your imagination.
Do you like it hearty...
A fine wholemeal dough is available for the savory varieties. On request, we can also prepare a vegan crêpe batter that is just as tasty, or a gluten-free galette batter based on buckwheat flour.
The savory crêpes can be filled with, for example, rustic Bernese Alpine cheese AOP, Rustico ham, a spicy pesto, spinach or other fresh vegetables from the organic garden, minced meat from organic pasture-raised beef, a delicious lentil curry or our spicy peanut cream. We present our favorite combinations, such as "Hobelkäse - apple - walnut" or "Alpkäse - pesto - spinach" and give you tips for your own creations.
...or sweet
The sweet crêpes are based on a creamy, sweet batter. For the filling, we have everything you need for classics such as "Nutella - banana" or "sugar - lemon". Our trump cards, however, are the homemade compotes and jams, which tempt you to make delicious new discoveries. For example, lemon compote and black chocolate or the spiced apple compote turn the crêpes into a unique culinary experience.
Tips and tricks
The art of making crêpes consists of guiding the "râteau", the wooden scraper, in such a way that the batter is spread evenly and wafer-thin on the large crêpe plate without the crêpe tearing. We know tricks for this, as well as for flipping the crêpes, which will help you become a crêpes pro in no time.
Just as important for a perfect crêpe are the right temperature and the right baking time. The soft, sweet batter has different requirements than the batter for crispy, savory crêpes. We'll show you what to look out for.
The crêpes taste best "on the go" - eaten out of a paper bag, like a sandwich. However, if you prefer, you can also enjoy them on plates (crockery can be booked as an option).
If you book the offer with aperitif and drinks, homemade drinks and fine organic coffee will be available for you at the buffet throughout the event.
