Aperitif in the castle
The noble walls are easy to reach and yet you enter a completely different world. The castle, built in the 19th century, is a wonderful place to enjoy yourself and the view over Aargau is incomparable. Start your knightly occasion with an aperitif. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco or Vino Spumante; a fine Pinot Grigio is also available. You also have a choice of beer, soft drinks and mineral water. Chips and nuts are served with the drinks.
The knights' table
After the aperitif, it's time for a royal dinner. The knight's banquet will spoil you with the following dishes:
- For starters: Knight's salad (lamb's lettuce with raspberry vinaigrette and roasted nuts), "Schlossrueder" smoked bacon, Habsburg knight's cheese (to slice yourself), mini "Habsburger", antipasti on a platter, soup of the day
- For the main course: Chicken thigh, pork knuckle with braised vegetables, roasted pork chops, polenta, "Habsburg" fries, beans, Quorn schnitzel (for vegetarians)
- For dessert: Dessert buffet with a cake, fruit salad and a crème

The banquet facilities are available to you free of charge for your event. During the main banquet season (June 1 - September 30), a minimum consumption of CHF 8,000.00 is required each Saturday (including aperitif, meal in the Rittersaal and hotel room). In summer, the event can be held on the magnificent sun terrace with a view over the Aargau.
