Introduction to the world of breads
Master baker Jürgen Mielke knows about the peculiarities of the approximately 300 types of Swiss bread. After a brief introduction to the origin and development of bread, the first part of the course will immerse you in the sensory and aromatic diversity of the different types of bread.
Food pairing in the bakery
Afterwards, you will visit the bakery. There you will taste various types of bread with the master baker. The tasting includes not only the classic tasting, but also the definition of the peculiarities, the determination of the quality and the so-called food pairing: the identification of particularly tasty, original, digestible or healthy food combinations.
Closing and aperitif
The informative excursion into the world of breads is followed by the leisurely and enjoyable part. Over a delicious aperitif, you can try out further flavor combinations and deepen the specialist knowledge you have learned in stimulating conversation.
